Around the Town

As a photographer I find street photography one of the most interesting & challenging forms of photography. There is no preparation, no planning, makeup artists are not involved and you have to always be ready to see something that no one else can see. This series is a collection from the streets of Sydney, London and Dublin.

My favourite image in this series is ‘Faceless Woman’ – a woman sitting on a wall, the way her hair fell casually over from her pinned up styles as she sits, waits, enjoys the sun and the grunge culture that surrounded her in Camden town, London made her irresistible not to photograph. There is a peacefulness about her that comes through the image without ever having to capture the expression of her face.
