Nature

Vibrant colours of flowers blooming and bees building a hive make spring and summer the perfect time to break out a macro lens (or any lens for that matter) and take beautiful pictures. I prefer to use my Nikon 60mm Macro lens when photographing flowers, bushes, insects as it has the ability to capture the smallest detail and bring it to life. I have used shallow depth of field (DOF) to help create that ‘foggy’ look in the background and help you focus on the real detail of the image. Other lenses used for this portfolio are Nikon 24-70mm & 70-300mm.
